We’re a team redefining what modern work looks like—where care and performance grow together.
We combine research, strategy, and lived experience to help companies make caregiving visible, measurable, and valued.
The ELIXR Story
ELIXR began with a clear mission: to make caregivers in the workplace impossible to ignore, transforming a hidden risk into a driver of retention, performance, and growth.
After decades in corporate biotech, our founder saw what data alone couldn’t capture: the quiet toll caregiving takes when organizations fail to see it, name it, or support it. Behind every promotion, burnout, and departure was a story of care—unacknowledged, unmeasured, and costly.
In 2023, that insight became a movement. ELIXR launched The Science of Modern Motherhood™, a first-of-its-kind national research study redefining how care, identity, and work intersect across the employee experience. The findings revealed what many leaders had sensed but couldn’t measure: caregiving isn’t rare, it’s the rule.
Building on that research, ELIXR created our CareConscious™ Solutions, a data-driven framework that helps companies turn insight into action. We equip leaders to lead with confidence, align benefits with real needs, and build cultures where care is visible, valued, and sustained.
Our mission is to make every workplace CareConscious™, where care is visible, leaders are confident, and culture drives measurable impact.
Our vision is bold: a future where caregiving isn’t hidden in the margins but recognized in the boardroom. Where leaders normalize care, caregivers find community, and organizations share a common language. Where care shifts from invisible burden to recognized advantage.
Our Founder’s Story
Jess Ringgenberg, PCC ELIXR’s founder, left a successful career in rare disease biotech to solve a problem she could no longer ignore: the systemic failure to support caregivers, especially working mothers, in the workplace.
As a Fortune 500 leader and mother of two, she witnessed how invisibility, bias, and outdated systems quietly pushed caregivers out of leadership and, too often, out of the workforce altogether. She founded ELIXR to rewire that system and make care visible, measurable, and valued as both a human and business imperative.
In 2023, Jess launched The Science of Modern Motherhood™, a first-of-its-kind national research study that redefined the caregiver experience through data, identity, and workplace impact. The study became the foundation for ELIXR’s ongoing work to make every workplace CareConscious™.
Jess lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and two boys, navigating family life while building for lasting impact.
